A few weeks ago, I heard some bitter-sweet news about one of my favorite stores on the South side of Indy. If you live around Indy, and you haven't heard, then prepare yourself...... the Greenwood Flower Factory is closing! Like many shoppers, I had mixed feelings about this recent bit of information. On the one hand, I was immediatly bummed, because I really love the combination of variety and low prices that Flower Factory offers. On the other hand, I was excited, because I knew everything in the store was going on SALE! Seeing as how I'm not the kind of girl to pass up a good sale, I immediately made plans to take a thirty minute drive and take advantage of the good deals. I'll have you know, I was not disappointed. Now, I will tell you that I made my bitter-sweet shopping trip a few weeks ago, so while I don't know what kind of merchandise is left, I'm certain that everything left is at a reduced price. If you live in the Indianapolis area, and you haven't already done so, go check out Flower Factory's store closing sale.
For those of you who don't know what Flower Factory is, it's a store that primarily sells items for the home, but they tend to have a variety of things. I've mentioned Flower Factory in my blog before, when I wrote a post about my South Side Shopping Day.
here's what I got at the big sale......
seasonal rugs for the front door - $6 each |
wall decor for the master bedroom - $6 for the large one, $4 each for the small ones |
several gift bags - all were less than $1, many were around $.50 |
2 candles for the front porch - $2.50 each |
10 glass votives - $.50 each 2 packs of tealights - $1 per pack |
